The LIfe of a Musician

Hosted by Danville Artist, Brandon Lee Adams

This series, produced by Blue Ridge PBS, features fascinating conversations, stories, and music from well-known international artists. Season one guests include John Jorgenson, guitarist for Elton John, Sting, and Bob Dylan, and John McEuen, a founding member of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Adams himself is a very accomplished singer/songwriter/musician with two roots and bluegrass albums under his belt. He’s also worked with many notable artists and musicians during his career. 

Danville, VA serves as the backdrop for the series and each episode is filmed in very unique locations, including historical homes, hotels, and even an old gas station.



December 10 - Back-to-Back Episodes!!

  •  Part One @ 8:30pm -A very special visit with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s own John McEuen. John and Brandon perform some traditional songs from "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" days and discuss some of John’s early influences. 
  •  Part Two @ 9pm - John McEuen talks about his new book, Will the Circle Be Unbroken, The Making of a Landmark Album, 50th Anniversary

December 17 - Two-time National Flatpick Guitar champion Scott Fore comes to the show. Scott discusses what life is like as a national champ, and the ins and outs of being a guitar slinger and dad of three.
