Mill Mountain Wildflower Garden, part 2

The Wildflower Garden was started in 1971 through a partnership between the garden club and Roanoke Parks and Recreation. Watch to hear from Jane Coulter, a member of Mill Mountain's Garden Club, to get a little history lesson on the wildflower garden, along with the new beautiful additions to the garden.

Harrison Museum of African American Culture

In this installment of Exploring Virginia, Charles Price sits down to talk about the Harrison Museum of African American Culture. The Harrison Museum is dedicated to providing a space for the preservation of Black history through the years and into the future. Located in downtown Roanoke, Virginia, their exhibits focus on highlighting Black history and achievement on local, regional, and national levels.
