In celebration of Blue Ridge PBS's 50th anniversary in 2017, we brought back classic episodes of the iconic program, Cookin' Cheap. Watch it on air and online.
The comedy cooking show served up lots laughs to television audiences for 22 years. It was the brainchild of host, Laban Johnson, who teamed up with radio personality Larry Bly to cook up hundreds of recipes and a lot of humor.
The show was recorded live on tape in the studio of Blue Ridge PBS from 1980 to 2002 with occasional episodes being shot on location.
